Which controller need a mapping for Cross in 2015

I'm a newbie and is searching for a better VDJ software for my Gemini Slate 4. Serato DJ isn't something I'm comfortable using due to beatgrid issues. Can you help? Thanks.

You can give the Cross Demo version a try. Link is at the top of the page. It will give you like 15 days of full trial.
You'll have to test yourself if any of the present MIDI mappings will work for your controller. Modifying or creating mappings is build in. Only setting output leds for more complicate controls takes some more effort.

Usually other users are willing to help you out.

Thank you RoJec! I was able to map my controller, but nothing seems to be working. I can load the song, but then when I hit the play button, it won't play. I can see that the play button/graphic is triggered everytime I click on my hardware, but what I'm more dumbfounded about is even if I just click the play button using my mouse, it won't even play.
