Pioneer: DDJ-SX, DDJ-SZ, DDJ-SX2, XDJ-1000

Gemini: CDJ 650, CDJ 700, G2V, G4V

American Audio: 14MXR, 10MXR, 19MXR

Vestax: PMC-05 ProIV

Stanton: DJC.4

A Few points about mappings:

-More COMPLETE maps (not just transport and jog wheel)
-Central place for mapping info (like a Wiki - easily searchable)
-More COMPLETE maps for *mid/high-end* controllers
-Scripting language for mappings would be *HUGE*
-Compatible controller list needs a refresh/update
-If MV only makes one map in 2015 it should be the Pioneer XDJ-1000 (an accessible, mid-level controller/media player from an industry standard manufacturer)

In general, MixVibes staff is doing and incredible job. Your hard work has made me a big supporter of the company, and I'm excited about it's future. Keep up the great work MixVibes!

Here is an example of the LED lights code for needle search

<mapping>
<control alias="fam(Player)[0x1].NeedleSearch" value="%"/>
<MIDI type="CC" parameter="0x3" channel="0x1" value="%"/>
</mapping>

The parameter in bold would be the address for the LED light in the VCI 380 this would be a different number. The channel is assuming that player 1 is on channel 1 for your controller.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Finding something as basic and essential as LED feedback shouldn't be like "finding a needle in a haystack". I have the exact same problem as this guy, and what bothers me the most is that this very needed answer is going to be buried in a forum that has nothing to do with LED feedback, where very few people will find it.

Can MixVibes do anything about this? Do I need to start a mapping Wiki myself? It seems like it would create more value for Cross, in addition to saving everyone alot of work.

Just sayin'

There is a whole dedicated forum on MIDI mapping.
Also tools that help you with this.
