Changes from 1.4.0 to 1.5.0 RC
------------------------------
NEW: Add new BPM engine.
NEW: Add three more locators for each Player.
NEW: Add Position Jog presets for "new-style" jogs (VCI-300, VMS-4, etc.).
NEW: Add some built-in MIDI mappings -- DENON S3700 Hybrid MIDI, Vestax VCI-300/VCI-300MKII, Allen&Heath Xone XD, Vestax PMC-05ProIV, Novation Dicer.
NEW: Add an output limiter.
NEW: Add Cue/Mix control.
NEW: Add Device Events aliases for MIDI mappings as "StateRequest", "Startup" and "Shutdown".
NEW: Cross file browser is now automatically refreshed when a external storage device is plugged/unplugged.
NEW: It is now possible to simply (using a fixed built-in preset) map MIDI out messages whose value depends on some Cross state (e.g. fader/knob position, vu-meters).
NEW: Add the possibility to navigate through the panes via MIDI/keyboard.
FIX: AMD processors didn't benefit from any hardware acceleration resulting in extremely bad performances!
FIX: On MaxOSX.6 (Snow Leopard), samplerate changes failed.
FIX: Cross crashed when decoding some bad OGG files.
FIX: Cross ignored the first letter of some ID3 tag fields when they were encoded in UTF-16.
FIX: Cue monitor volume had been broken.
FIX: Cross crashed when trying to use the U-Mix44 soundcard and its updated driver.
FIX: Missing Media Manager was no more launchable via track's contextual menu.
FIX: Audio output routing was buggy (e.g. failed to use 3/4 output id 1/2 was disabled...)
FIX: When using Control Vinyls in relative mode, the antiskip system became crazy at track bounds.
FIX: iTunes pane didn't show bitrate, nor filetype columns anymore.
FIX: The track analysis didn't store BPM in the peakfile anymore.
FIX: Cross failed to connect some MIDI output devices.
FIX: The crossfader curve had been broken.
FIX: When playing backwards in Vinyl Control, it was possible to load a new track and break the playback even with the security on.
FIX: Some player elements were misplaced and badly stretched.
FIX: Unknown control aliases weren't discarded when loading a mappings file (KB/MIDI), leading to weird behaviors on new control mapping.
FIX: Sometimes, pushing "Loop out" didn't get the playback position to the Loop In point.
FIX: In external control mode, Cue and Play/Pause states weren't correctly broadcasted for MIDI out.
FIX: When not externally controlled (or in Cross DJ), Cross could get stuck in a state where play/pause has no effect anymore.
FIX: Some text was not correctly translated after a language change.
FIX: Some MIDI Out messages were mistakely discarded.
FIX: When changing the active player, Cross didn't broadcast its state correctly (MIDI out).
FIX: Cross could crash when browsing an empty track list via MIDI/keyboard.
FIX: Cross could crash when smart-seeking too fast.
FIX: "Alt-F4" didn't quit the app on windows.
FIX: Quitting the browsing track of the Timecode CD by scratching backwards made Cross unable to quite the browsing state.
FIX: Having two audio devices which names are the same apart from the case could crash Cross.
FIX: Clicking a locator button while holding the Shift key could lead to crash.
FIX: In the iTunes pane, the "Date Added" fields were filled with bad values.
FIX: Sometimes Cross had a very small display size at startup.
FIX: In Keyboard and MIDI preferences, controls lists were not ordered correctly.
FIX: Sometimes the TC vinyl calibration failed and set a -40dB input gain.
FIX: Importing a folder containing an already loaded track could crash the app.
FIX: Harsh TC vinyl backspinning could get the Relative Mode anti-skip system crazy.
FIX: "Cmd + W" didn't work anymore on macOSX.
FIX: Changing the sample rate of the device playing in Cross via the macOSX Audio Settings could cause Cross to stop.
ENHANCEMENT: Update built-in MIDI and Keyboard mappings.
ENHANCEMENT: Update some translations.
ENHANCEMENT: In high audio latency configurations (> 10 ms), perceived latency has been reduced.
ENHANCEMENT: Change default master volume to better prevent master clipping.
ENHANCEMENT: Move "About" back to the Help menu.
ENHANCEMENT: Minor graphical fixes in MIDI settings pane.
ENHANCEMENT: Stop being case sensitive when parsing MIDI events in mappings files.
ENHANCEMENT: Don't discard "*.mappings.xml" files anymore when importing a new mappings file in Cross, as some web browsers automatically add the ".xml" extension.
ENHANCEMENT: Built-in controllers "readonly" icon has been reduced to let more space for the controller name.
ENHANCEMENT: Add new options to some MIDI presets.
ENHANCEMENT: Stop being case sensitive when appending numbers to identical MIDI device names.
ENHANCEMENT: Try to make Cross display more unicode symbols (like Hebrew).
ENHANCEMENT: Update some built-in MIDI mappings with the new features.
