Hi there Mixvibes team,

Would like to know about plans for the new year. Is Cross 4 coming soon?

Long months since last update, so I wanted to know a bit more about what to expect...

Thanks for the great product guys!

Cheers,

Yes please! any updates on the future of the software would be excellent!

I've Been seeing what Pioneer is doing, there's too many similarities to be a coincidence. I really hope they didn't steal the dev team from mixvibes or kill the project entirely in lieu of Rekordbox DJ

I think it would be good to have a few lines dropped here by someone from Mixvibes...

It's bad enough to have my last bug report post and feature suggestion post from July still without any answer... :(

I love your product, but I'll have to rethink my options if I can't get answers from you guys!

Bug reports and feature suggestions are important source of information given to the software house for free and should deserve at least an answer and a thank you...

Also when your users ask for information regarding your roadmap, it is an important commercial inquiry that should deserve careful and prompt reply!

Hope to have some pointers soon and hope that Mixvibes is not abandoned as superdj suggested and I thought as well as probable...

Cheers,

First of all a Happy New Year.

You are right that a reply to a crash report is a common thing to do. Fortunately most of the time the devteam does reply. It may however have been a known issue, which maybe didn't have a quick fix.

MixVibes has never provided a roadmap, and not likely will do. From my own perspective I can only consider this a smart thing to do. It would merely create expectations, whereas in software development one doesn't know if a new feature will work until it has been tested by a broad test team.

Recordbox has made some nice progress, but 'only' for those willing to have subscription based software, whereas with Cross you will be able to use the version you like. But like others changed the look and feel MV will likely have quite some differences in the upcoming version. And just like you I am looking forward to see which of the recommendations of users made it or rather what the team invented to have the ideas implemented MV style.

Happy New Year for you too Ronald! And for all fellows in the house! :)

Thanks so much for the prompt reply.

It was exactly a few lines like these that I personally was looking for. I understand that the internal roadmap of any software house is not public, and what I wanted to know was what to expect from Mixvibes in a near future.

A feeling of anxiety in the community relating to the absence of information from Mixvibes lately has been emerging, and in my personal case, the fear of having Mixvibes Cross discontinued due to any Pioneer related or not event has motivated this post...

For me it was enough to have a line like this in reply: "Yes, we are here and busy working in version 4. No dates still for now but it will come out and have lots of new features."

Hope that this has helped to give some feedback to the community that Cross is alive and kicking! And will stay tuned for more news in 2016...

Cheers,
