Which official mapping do you need in 2015?

Any other suggestions?

Since they are keeping it in production (with a lightning adapter this time), the Numark iDJ Pro comes to mind :-). As does the NDX-500 from Numark. Owning both I am just being selfish here.

I am, however, extremely happy that the question is asked to begin with!

As an afterthought, if I look at the list, I see mainly low end (modular) controllers, the S8 being the high end exception and the two Akai's kind of floating in the middle.

I am seriously confused by people wanting to buy the S8 which is designed bottom up, top down and side to side to be 100% Traktor compatible and then turn to Cross as their software platform. Imho there are plenty of other controller options that would fit the bill better.

And I personally feel it would be a good plan to make sure you support the main controllers from the main brands.

Based on the current "compatible controllers" list:

Pioneer: DDJ-SZ, DDJ-SX2, XDJ-1000
Denon: SC3900 (for those spinning platter enthusiasts), MC6000 mk2
Numark: iDJ Pro, NDX-500, NV
Reloop: Beatmix-series, Terminal Mix 8

i would like to see an updated version for the kontrol s4 mk1. my controller seems to always stop working after a few minutes.

Some of the older controllers could stand a revisit and a refresh for their mappings.

The Numark N4 official mapping is fatally flawed and one of the forum users found a way to fix the Deck 2/4 button so it would work. That mapping fix is posted in this forum and works great. Except that controller (which I own) has problems with the cue button and the cue/main mix rotary knob. Nothing comes out of the headphones when cueing a track with the cue button pushed above the channel fader and the cue/main mix know turned all fo the way to the left. The headphones get the main mix fine which is pointless. Efforts suggested in this forum to fix the problem thus far have gone nowhere.

At the low low end, the Numark idj3 also has cue problems. The cue buttons don't work. Numerous mentions of this appear in the forums and the Numark firmware won't load for users with Windows 8 installed.
