Pioneer DJM T1 & MixVibes

Good morning/evening Guys,

I am new to this forum. I mostly use DVS. I started off VDJ then move to Serato, nowI have been using Traktor for couple years.
I am thinking on purchasing Cross DJ Pro due to an increasing demand for Video DJ. I know serato does video, but for some reason I can get the Video and Audio working together. Ex. when I am in MIDI mode Video crossfader works but no Sound - When I am on CD/Phono mode, Sound is fine, all MIDI button are fine, but no Video Crossfader Control.

1) Does Cross DJ has a mapping for the DJM T1 that can control both video and sound.

2) is Cross DJ mappeble? or at least the Crossfader for BOTH Video and AUDIO Mixing?

3) How stable is Cross DJ with DVS? (That was my reason from moving to Traktor)

4) Will the DJM T1 soundcard works with Cross DJ or will I need to use a different soundcard?

Regards,

PiYo

Thanks for the quick reply.

Ok, Now when you say "Video embedded in Software" does that mean not matter what mixer you are using (external mode) once it's connected to a soundcard the Crossfader will work for both Audio and Video?

I did a complete mapping of the djm-t1 including output lighting, so adding video to it would only be a matter of minutes.

In fact it does work better with Cross and timecode than traktor does.

Unfortutnately I do not have the djm-t1 anymore, but i can guide you thru the mapping and setup if needed.

Guys thanks for the feedbacks.

Can we MIDI map on the Demo/Free version. I just want test the crossfader mapping with my DJM T1 to make sure It works for both audio and video together..

And if it actually works Mixvibes should use it in their marketing. A lot of DJ out there with soundcard boxes and non MIDI mixer will jump in. The only draw back would be resetting CUES/Loops/Grids ect... a lot of DJs would rather stick to there current gear in investing in some new expensive All in one units.

  hate to respond with out 100 % info ,,the free version has some limitation on it ,,not shure if one of them is lack of MIDI control /MIDI mapping abilities ,, best i can offer is that you download it to see ,also will give a little bit better feel of the software ,
by hannes posting the controller is remappable and even offered some assistance when you get there ,,

Hi,

No MIDI in Free version.
Sorry to say there's no way to test MIDI before buying.
