Irvin Cee's new mix

Postby Irvin Cee on 01 Sep 2008, 16:30

Hi fellow DJ'ays

It was a long time ago but I got back in my attick last weekend.
My newmix is on-line

http://www.ithelps.be/temp/mixes/
Rightclick on and save on your disk on the folowing file.
20080830_Skipping%20Foreplay%20192Kbps_Irvin%20Cee_12.wma

It is 235MB big, so be patient while downloaden. My upstream speed is 6 times more fast than before but still not huge :-(

The mix is recorded using MV7, M-Audio FW401 and a crippled (by MV7) DAC-3.

i'm downloading your mix, its pretty long

If you want a good provider, try to store your videos on Vimeo (free, HD and 500Mo for upload per week).

I am using vimeo to publish MixVibes videos (http://www.mixvibes.com/videos) and it works very well.

Thank you for this information.
I do however own several servers that are on the internet with an ADSL2+ annex M line. Currently 19Kbps downstream and about 2.8Kbps upstream speed. Which is reasonable fast but not like the big guys. Advantage is that I have everything local, have no size or volume problem and I can manage my own statistics on my servers.
As long as I haven't 100 users a day downloading my mixes I should be ok. Anyway it is only intended for demo purposes to collegue DJ's.

Irvin.

Thanks!

I record one every 3 to 4 months, when I have enough new (and good) material...
Before this one it was long ago, so I was a bit rusty again, nothing a good Cognac or a "Duvel" beer could'nt get loose :)
I normaly start pretty slow (lesse than 115bpm), but this time I decided to skip foreplay :D

This one is pretty short, only 2h47, the previous one was 5h04, even longer to download
