What happened to Beatport BPM tags?

Postby serjio on 19 May 2020, 14:34

In the past few weeks, I've noticed a high incidence of tracks with incorrectly tagged BPMs when purchasing on Beatport. Mixed In Key and rekordbox both report a different BPM, which I verify by spinning the track. https://snaptube.cam/https://9apps.cam/ I'm puzzled because this didn't happen so frequently before, and there doesn't seem to be any correlation between a track's release date and BPM correctness. It's almost like there was a regression in Beatport's underlying analysis algorithm.

Has anyone else noticed this and/or have further insight into why it's happening?

Have you selected the proper BPM detection range?
