Half step up recordings?

Postby JohnMartin on 23 Aug 2019, 09:31

I purchased the M audio 8x4m, because it was a killer price for an interface. I followed all of the directions to the letter. The instructions told me to make my interface the default playback device, and the default recording device. Following that I clicked properties, then advanced tab, and selected "2 channel, 24-bit, 48000 hz (studio quality) as the default format.https://192168ll.onl/ https://xender.vip/ https://testmyspeed.onl/

I opened up Audacity which is my recording engine (obviously), and attempted to record. I'm able to monitor my intstruments, and everything.

The only issue I'm having is that all of my recordings come out a half step pitch up. For example, an E major chord sounds like F. An A major chord sounds like B flat. I'm at a loss for words, and I'm open to any recommendation.

audacity's project rate is set to 48000hz, just like the default format.
