Alternatives to Cross DJ

Seeing as we're not getting a version 4 or any other update anytime soon, what software are people moving to?

Obviously there's Serato but what others are there? Minimum requirement for me is that there would be a mapping for my U-Mix Control Pro 2 available or I could map myself.

Mixxx is now at V2.2, is totally free, and is map-able.

Does not do video, no "Color" in the library browser, and you can't assign names to the Hot Cues. Other than that, it is actually very good.

It is amazing what has happened at Mixvibes - or I guess I should say what hasn't happened!

You can try Traktor or Virtual DJ. They include your MIDI controller mapping.

Might move to Rekordbox whenever I buy some compatible hardware that comes with license. Cross exports playlists and hot cues to Rekordbox neatly.

Looking at the alternatives makes me appreciate the simplicity of Cross.
