The longer it takes to release V4 (assuming it does get released), the less successful it will be - they have already lost way too much ground to the competition.

The other assumption is that it will be a worthwhile update. Note the complete lack of interaction between Mixvibes and this Forum - whatever they are doing, it is being done in a vacuum.

Overall, IMHO just an incredibly poor way of handling a great piece of software.

I totally agree. Reminds me of the abandonship of M-Audio Torq. Those days, we all expected a major update, until we were announced that the company changed leadership and it was not in their plans to continue.. Too bad for great pieces of software....

That is exactly what happened to me. I went from M-Audio Torq to Mixvibes Cross. Torq was awesome and the only software that came close or better was Cross.

I guess I have an idealistic affinity for the under dog. Now Cross is stuck and I am converting thousands of tracks cue points and loops to other software packages.
