Is Mixvibes Cross Dead?

This was posted three days ago (in another forum on this board by someone else) without a single response (neither by users nor by Mixvibes) -

"I've been using MixVibes since March for very basic DJ-ing. I have not yet upgraded to Cross Pro, for the simple reason that after investigating more thoroughly on this Forum and having my own "off" experience dealing with MixVibes customer service, I am hesitant to spend $99. when Traktor is an industry standard and the same price.

I'm ALL about supporting independent companies, especially in this day & age. Also, just because some other, more popular software is the "industry standard", it may not necessarily be what one needs. That said, if this company is ignoring users 4 year old suggestions, I can't help but feel like I'm an impasse.

Would anyone like to convince me to stay with MixVibes and upgrade to Cross, or should I go with Traktor? Thoughts and suggestions are much appreciated."

Could you imagine a question like this being posted on the Serato, Traktor, or VDJ boards and having zero response??

What the heck is going on here? I realize a lot has been done recently with phone/tablet apps, but this is becoming ridiculous. Is Cross Abandon-Ware? Did Mixvibes sign a non-competition agreement with Pioneer when they developed Rekordbox for them?

What really makes this frustrating is that Cross DJ is a very good piece of software - and would be even better if some of the recommendations on this board were implemented. Unfortunately, it looks like it's development has virtually stopped, and activity on this forum is greatly diminished.

Sometimes the answer is not there by users nor moderators...

But please do not copy topics. All Cross forums nowadays are open. So everybody can read it. If you want to put a topic up in the 'new' just reply to it.

For that purpose I licked this topic, so the discussin can be done in one topic keeping all data in one place.

Every now and than the 'unanswered topics' are reviewed by moderators to answer these.
