Cross has quit working error

I have been using Cross for quite a while now and all of a sudden this thing pops up that says Cross has quite working.

I never had this problem with Windows 8 or 10 when it was on my computer. I don't care for either of the two so I cleared the whole computer and installed Windows 7 professional cause I liked it better.

I had Cross on my old computer with Windows 7 but didn't have this problem I am having now.

This problem using happens 2 or 3 times in a 4 hour period. This window pops up saying Cross has quite working and there are two options at the bottom of the window. I hit close to close Cross. I forget the other option. But either way it closes out of Cross then you have to start Cross back up.

I am looking for help and a fix for this if possible.

I am on my way to buy another new computer soon but till then I need to fix this.

Which version of Cross are you using.

It may be you have some tracks causing trouble. If so these likely come from a similar source.

Unfortunately your description doesn't provide to much info on what's going on.

It may even be that energy savings settings are involved.

So please try to gather some more details on the circumstances.

I am running 3.3.11 version.

if its the tracks causing trouble. How can i get rid of the bad ones?

And what energy saving settings exactly are you talking about? I run AVG Tune Up and run it at its highest performance level or sometimes just at the regular level but i never run them on a low energy saving setting?

And what details do I need to provide you for you to have a better idea of my situation.
