Hey, i use crossDJ for teaching ballroom dances. It is one of very few Android Apps that can do timestretching. Everything works fine, but i wonder if it was possible not having to hardwire the phone to the rack, but either play from CrossDJ to a DLNA, Airplay, Chromecast whatever device (over Wifi, _not_ bluetooth) or to wirelessly remote control the android app. I could stay on the floor instead of running to the deck at least every 3 Minutes.
I tried to use a DLNA sink like AirAudio. AirAudio 'redirects' any audio output to a DLNA, Airplay or Chromecast server. Works great with many audio players, except CrossDJ (i don't blame Mixvibes for that, it's bending the standards).

One of the reasons Cross doesn't 'support' streaming functionality is that is a low latency application (milliseconds). The streaming apps/features use buffering of audio upto several seconds. If you would do that with Cross it would have strange effects.

Though in your situation it might(will) not be an issue, as a DJ tool it will be not good to have this.

As a remote you may want to check if there are 'vnc' apps for android to android. I know for sure android to Win exist (though not to usefull here)

Yes, the latency is at least around 1 second which is certainly inacceptable for mixing and effects. For me it's quite OK ;-)
VNC or any other window redirection might be a solution. A great solution would be a bluetooth controller for start, stop, skip.
I gues crossDJ is not the perfect match for me, just the best currently available.

If you don't mind using bluetooth you could consider a bluetooth audio receiver (and plug into a line in of a speaker system/amp).
By this you can have the tab/phone at hand and don't need a second device.

I have made mixed experiences with bluetooth audio so far. The biggest problem are the connection losses when people Cross the beam. That is not a big deal for remote controlling, but audio should not drop too often. Maybe i should have a look whether there a better bluetooth sender/receiver combinations available today.
