Hey i'm getting this error 'You cannot make another post so soon after your last.' every time i want to reply on a topic. Even though there are a few minutes in between

The forum (as many other fora) is under attack by many spammers. Hundreds of topics a day are(were?) frequently created.

A bunch of measures are being put in place for this.

The intend is to be as user friendly as possible. However what you report "shouldn't be possible".

Could you maybe check if your system date/time is correct.
Also some date/time settings may be relevant.
Do you have a direct connection or are you using alternative connection methods.

The weird part of it is that i couldn't reply on a topic but i could open a new topic !

A minute later then my previous i tried reply on it but it always gave me the error, even tried it with my phone same result !

It must be the anti spam measures the team have put in place as mentioned by RoJeC

Ok, but it's annoying for a real member.
I am acquainted with the not to fast respond type of anti spam, on another forum I'm a member they are using it to but after a minute or 2 i can post. On here i can't even post something after 10 or even 15minutes !

Hopefully they'll get it fixed.

I've seen all the spammers on this forum it's a good thing they're getting measures.

I agree this is a really bad bug, even if it's part of anti-spam operations.

I have fired off a PM to the Mixvibes crew to check what's up.

In the current setup it is unworkable (at least for me).

Reply to one post and then having to come back an hour later to reply to the next isn't what I had in mind :-)

I couldn't agree more !

The idea is only to prohibit robotic spam, posting in seconds.

Given Vintage confirming it we can at least rule out it's a single issue.

I have waited for several minutes (>10) and it would just not allow me to post. And this is in replies. Not sure robotic spammers reply? One would expect those to be new postings only?

Anyway, some tweaking is in order
