Will Cross still be supported in the future?

In juli 2015 was the last update from Cross. Now it is march 2016, is this not a long time without updates? Are there reasons to get worried about the future of mixvibes?

Why aren't there any updates don't they have the money to make them? Or are they only focusing on the mobile app?

Maybe they are working hard on new stuff for the PC version, i don't know it. But when it takes this long it should be something really good or it is a bad sign.

There have been quite some changes in OSX and win since the last major release of Cross. These required fixes to keep it running the 'old' way. Basically a kind of waste of development time... rewrites to have the program to more or less the same.

This has had some consequences for the priorities, as you mentioned multiple mixvibes products come out of the devteams mind and hands.

It may take some more time to see if your new products dreams are in sync with the devteam's...

While I can't talk about what is coming or when it is coming because I am bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

I can however assure you that the Mixvibes Development Team is hard at work with an agressive schedule for updates and new features.

Hang in there. You are in good hands.

A modern UI design update would be welcomed, the current UI is starting to look dated compared to other software IMO...

Pretty sure this is in the works, I would like a touch screen friendly UI myself.. :)

What would be a benefit of a new/different UI?

Having the devteam work on looks doesn't necessarily make a better useable product.

It does make it better, and a very important element of any application.
I appreciate a nice modern UI, I appreciate modern design.
Look at what Google has done with Material Design for Android, or the iOS revamp a few years ago, Windows 10 and Mac OSX Yosemite, they all received massive design changes to keep them current.
If design were not as important as you beleive it to be then none of these companies would put so much time & effort in to design in the first place.
Beleive it or not, some people are shallow enough to purchase products just based on the UI / looks alone, so therefore Mixvibes risks being left out in the cold, as it's falling behind in this category...IMO of course ;)

This is indeed what I was afraid of. Changing for the sake of changing. And than tell it's an improvement because it costed...

I don't think to much people think W10 is better than W7, just because W8 was even worse. Fortunately there are many tools that fix the "expensive developers improvement" to get a decent interface back.

And let's not forget appx 2 years ago the current design was considered new..

..Just my opinion..

I agree, IMHO the UI only needs a few tweaks.

They have redesigned the UI for both the Android and iOS apps, I think they both look great, I see no reason why it can't be done for the desktop versions, it won't bankrupt them to do it! And I'd personally like to see a change in the design, nothing massively different, layout is fine, just a more modern look, a fresh skin really.
I also think they'll do this, as a business they'll know how important it is, otherwise they would not have redesigned the apps...
Progression and change isn't a bad thing, I know you feel it isn't important but some people will appreciate it.
