i miss you

So you're saying it's safe 2 upgrade to WIN10 ?

 have found that there is a transition period between software o s , ie between xp--vista,,found xp programs not able to be used by new os ,,even microsoft software ,, so my thoughts is to stay with something that works till more info/knowledgeable people solve the compatibility issues ,,

Mr. crossfade is always at the tip of technology. My thoughts: keep Win7 as long as possible. Why changing a running system? New improvements? Not sure if it is worth switching form a working OS to it
Viele Grüße,
Cheers,
A plus,

Ok, thx for the info. I'm currently running W8.1 and never had any probs with it

I'm gonna test W10 on my desktop (is running shitty for the moment, so instead of getting it sorted ... ) and leave my laptop at the current version.

After reading a few posts here on MV forum, it looks like it's safe 2 update to WIN10 ?

And an extra ? is it safe to update to the latest version of iTunes ?
I'm still running the previous version bcuz i've read all the probs with the latest iTunes updates.

Mentioning version might be safer..

Fix for osx 10 is there for a while.

I'm currently still using the iTunes 12.1.2.27 version bcuz of the warnings of the new iTunes version 12.2.2 that i've got saying the new version screws things up.
A week ago i got a notification that serato fixed the problem, so that's why i'm asking if there is/was a fix in the MV software ;)

Yep i know that the fix for OS W10 was out for a while but is it a stable OS in combination with MV software or is it better to stay with my current W8.1 version ?

My desktop is already running OS W10 and it runs very smooth comming from the W7 OS ;)

Haven't seen anyone reporting issues with the 12.2.2 version in the mixvibes forum. So don't think there is a general problem. But no prove untill users confirm having no issues...

One issue ive found since upgrading to W10 is if I click onto any other programme say chrome to check a webpage whilst playing I get major crackles through mixvibes
I know someone will say stop browsing, but it didnt do it in W8 :)
Not sure if its windows/laptop/mixvibes but Ill post it here anyways.

Increase latency should solve this. Also optimization for DJ ing may help. W10 seems to have quite some 'useless' graphical activity.
