2 x CDJ850 + 2 X SL1200 Cross Setup

Hi, I am currently using licensed version of Mixvibes Cross 3.3.10 with 2 x CDJ850's in HID mode. I am thinking of adding 2 x Technics SL1200 to my setup. Please advise what hardware I require besides turntables to complete my setup. I'm trying to establish if I have to use Mixvibes soundcard and time coded vinyls, or if a generic soundcard such as Maya 44 will work, and where would I be able to purchase your time coded vinyls in South Africa. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cross doesn't care what sound card you use for DVS (unlike "the" others).

So, any 4+4 sound card should work, I think.

I'm guessing that you WILL need Mixvibes TC vinyls though. But I am sure someone else can answer that question for you for certain.

You can try amazon. Not sure if they deliver in SA.

Thank you do much for your prompt response but please correct me if I'm wrong, but all I need are the time coded vinyls if I already have a soundcard, and since I have Cross I don't need DVS software?

One final question.....I think.... which colour/or "model" Mixvibes vinyl is suitable for Cross? Once again thanks to all for responding.

Ok, so received MV timecode vinyls, bought sl1200's, and Maya 44 usb soundcard. I got vinyl timecode to work. But now I don't know how to make Deck A and Deck B play cdj850 in HID using cdj850 audio drivers while Deck C and Deck D play SL1200's using Maya 44 audio drivers. I am using Windows 7 64bit, i3 , 8gb ram and 256gb ssd. Can someone please help?

To combine sound cards into one virtual sound card you have to use Asio4all.
Download from asio4all.com

select it as sc and edit settings.
To be able to select multiple sc you have to enable this (bottom right in Asio4all screen).

Only select cards and channels you actually need as each takes cpu capacity.
It depends on the sc driver if channels can be selected independent of one an other.
