New joiner says "Hello"... and "Help!"

Hi All,

I started DJing in 1991 and recently decided to finally go digital...

I am running 1210s and a XONE23C, so it was easy option to install Mixvibes LE (which came with the mixer), plug in my macbook, slap on the mixvibes timecode vinyl... and off I go :)
DVS is great, I wonder why I stayed analogue-only for so long!

Now to some teething problems. First with MIxvibes:
Mixvibes won't work with my iTunes library. I get red crosses every time I try to open a file.
I tried upgrading to latest version, but I keep getting "Access denied"
I have registered on the forum, including my serial #.
I sent a PM to Unclevibes last week, but no response,he has not logged into the forum for 3 weeks.

-> Who do I need to contact to get my download rights activated? :?:

Secondly, I have some problems with the forum.
Since this is my first post here, I would have posted in the "Introduce Yourself" section.
However, there is no "NEW TOPIC" button for me there in that section.
- Do I need to get extra activation in order to post in all areas of the forum? :?:

Thanks for your help guys!

Hi. Welcome to mixvibes.

You did the right thing. All your issues are related to the same cause being the registering.
The red crosses are due to Apple not taking care of backwards compatability. .. latest versions are fixed for this. . If only you could download.

You can try sending pm to etienne_badaroux he fills in for unclevibes.

Thanks for the advice.
I sent a message to Etienne, and he has not responded either.

Unclevibes and Etienne have not logged on to the forum for some time...

Are they the only tech support for Mixvibes?

Odd, They are normally really fast at this kind of thing. Stick around, hopefully they will be along soon.

Hi All,

I have still had no success with this.

The software does look like it has potential, and there is clearly an active user base (going by the number of forum users here).

However it is really frustrating as a new user to have (almost) zero technical support for the product.

Can anyone tell me if I missing something: am I dependent on getting this support through the forum, or can I go to the software developers direct?

Thanks!

Hello,

We will make an update next week for your version.
We just wait now for Allen&heath approval.

Hi 23e Heure,

For the "open a new post" matter, we are working on it and will PM you as soon as it is fixed.

Thank you,

Mixvibes' Team
