I started somewhere early in 2013 with Cross I think. Version 2.3 perhaps? And we just ran through 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6 in no time flat, less than a year. Somehow it feels like 2014 has only gotten us to 3.3.10.
Really curious if we are up for version 4.0 or 3.4 next.
Would love to see the results of what is, no doubt, the very inventive think tank over at Mixvibes.

The current filter is pretty good, so much better than the old one.

I don't remember in which version it was implemented but that capability has been available for some time now. map a function to a button, slider or knob and then map another function to the same button, slider or knob. it works

I confirm that you can map multiple command to the same MIDI input since I have done it for my lpd8 on the knobs so that it set FX on/off as well as change the amount.
