Multiple ja MIDI control is possible yes, the filter tabem is very good, the software only needs to be lighter or stable and will be the best of all worlds

the strange thing is that Cross had never taken so long for an update from the Cross; 2.3, will be something very serious ? hopefully not !

My guess would be that rewriting the software to be fully and true 64bit has been successful. Given the change the issues are minor and mostly fixed in the recent updates.

I would think the new era will bring a major change. And I'm curious as well as to what it will be.

And maybe it will be after another dot release...

There is a brand new Android version. Don't expect that although android smartphones are small the code for it is small/easy. It is just another platform. Hence we have to wait a little for a new Cross update. No need to worry
Viele Grüße,
Cheers,
A plus,
Steve
