Lost license key

Apologies if this topic should be elsewhere...

I bought a usb mp3 mixer a few years ago and it came with a Cross DJ software cd. However, I have since changed my laptop and whilst I still have the software cd I cannot find the cover which contains the licence key.

Can anyone advise how I can go about getting a new one (without having to pay again)?

Thanks!

G

 sorry to say you might be out of luck :frown: part of the process is regerstering in the fourm ,, because mixvibes has no way of knowing who purches its softwre /hardware bundels ,, regerstering gives proof of purches and the benifits of ownership , , there is but one choice ,, you can try the free version and or the demo to see what new features are implemented to help you with your choice ,,

Maybe you registered by a different username....

Maybe the original purchase information shows info...

Thanks for the info. I never registered it at the time (I suppose I just installed the program and didn't really know it had to be registered).

As it wasn't a piece of software I bought specifically, I wasn't aware whether it was any good or not (it came bundled with my usb mixer)

I downloaded the free program as suggested but it didn't allow me to use my usb mixer with it unless I paid for an upgrade, so it was pointless for me.

I really don't want to have to pay more money for something I already paid for and have the original disc for. I might just try and see if there are any other mixing software programs for free that will allow me to use my usb mixer with it.

Thanks,

G

OK. This would mean you also never upgraded.
The service has always been there so DJ's always have access. Irrespective of their CD or version.

You could give RecordBox a try. If you want more functionality you can use the data with Cross.
