iTunes 12 library missing

OK, will try and give as much info as I can on this one so bare with me.

I updated to yosemity and iTunes 12 last night on my macbook air. when i opened Cross today to add some new albums to the collection i got red crosses next to ALL of the tracks in the iTunes tab.

However, when i go to collection, all the tracks i have already added to Cross from iTunes play fine.

so im thinking its an issue with a new iTunes library file stopping Cross finding the tracks ???????

Anyone got a solution to this that doesnt involve having to manually add each track path?

im using Cross 3.2.1. cant seem to update to 3.3, so again any help??

This only happened after the update of OSX and iTunes

the reason for not being able to update the software is because you havent entered the software licence key in your profile ,, this regersteres it on the fourm and allows access to the download section ,, if you have entered it in your profile ,,,,the contack unclevibes with this info to get it sorted :cool:

What about the iTunes library issue?

I have the same problem and find it a real pain in the a$$. You spend more time on your notebook than the decks or crowd. :(

:cool: not shure about the i tunes issue ,,not useing i tunes to be able to help ,, trying to aid as i can ,, topic is still inplay for futher responces and solutions :cool:

I got my copy straight from app store. didnt get a product key for it. that im aware of anyway. Thought it would update through appstore updates?????

So if that is the only fix for the problem it might be a case of wait till the appstore update is available :(

:cool: not saying this is the fix for the i tunes issue that was a solution for updating the software if was a licence key purches ,, not thru app store ,, this info was missing ,, now futher inportant to p m uncle vibes with the info for getting a full licence for the software if still avaible ,, there was a offer to get licence keys for app store purches ,, pm him the info to see ,, :cool:

:cool: i know in collection ,, there is a process for relocating missing files and by selecting it you can batch relocate the files ,, not to familiar with the process due to not useing i tunes and only editing the collection thru Cross software ,, check fourm for more info ,, it will get solved :cool:

I am having the same problem. Cross 3.2.1 seems to be reading the file path in the xml of iTunes 12 differently if you look at the location column it has /file:///users/... it should be just /users/... This does not seem to happen in the demo version of Cross 3.3.

I am in the same boat for waiting for the update on the app store. When will the update become available on the app store?

If you register your license key in your user profile you will be able to download from the downloads section.
When purchased from the app store the purchase info has to be sent. Can't copy email now. You might be able to search it if you're in a hurry.
Last version has a fix for iTunes 12. App store often takes some time to accept updates due to the checks they do.
