Incompatibility of CrossDJ with latest Mac OS X software???

Postby Marc Wouters on 16 Oct 2014, 01:37

I'm running Mac OS X 10.9.5 (13F34) and I can't see plain text neither in the preferences neither in the maps of the program CrossDJ.
I bought the software in the iTunes store.

Same problem with the demo version of CrossDJ on this site.

Incompatibility of CrossDJ with latest Mac OS X software???

What do I do?

Can I have technical support on this matter?

If the software doesn't function on my Mac, how do I get my money back? I used my Visa credit card in the iTunes store.

I think I noticed this a few times over the years. As I'm not a Mac user I don't know the details, but it likely has to do with fonts setup at your MAC and pretty easy to solve.

I'll try searching in the forum and post a link here.
copied the DevTeam suggestion..

The font Cross rely on has probably disappeared from your mac.
Check if 'Arial' is still there and reinstall it if not.

Audio dropouts? Increase audio 'buffer size' value.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

Working fine in Mavericks. Not tried it in Yosemite yet.

The unwritten rule of pro audio- never update OSX or iOS straight away. Give it at least a few months and make sure everything is compatible before you do.

I have access to a Yosemite machine at home, I will test it when I get back there and see if I can reproduce the fault.
