Good afternoon. Can anyone tell me how to adjust my music playing speed? I just uploaded the DJ First Mix Software to my computer and moved songs to my collection, but when I press play the songs are playing SUPERFAST! I want them to play at normal speed. Is there an adjustment I need to make in the settings of the software for this to happen? I'm also not getting any volume through my computer from the songs. Thanks

couple of issues going on ,, not clear enough info to pinpoint a solution ,, but first regerster your software licence key in the fourm ,, user control panel/profile/serial # , this will allow you acess to the apprioate topic page to be able to post screen shots to give a better picture of whats going on ,, after that give more info as to your system spec ,, and hardware set up ,, welcome to mixvibes , what are the pitch sliders set at what audio config are you using have you check the manual for info as to proper set up .. top left coner of software gui is a tab ,,display menue /help /manual ,,

I am using the original First mix software and it is on my Hewlett Packard laptop, which has Windows 8. The pitch settings are at default settings which is 4, 4, & 6. Would this have anything to do with needing to download the newest version of mixvibes softwarto my computer? Everything else works fine on the software but the songs play super fast and I get no sound. This has to be a settings issue I would think. Thanks

In the software gui should be a pitch slider ..one for each track ,, this can speed up/slow down the track playing ,, where are thease set at ,, should be the middle ,,and a little red light on ,, if that's the case then something else is going on ,, not shure what you mean about default settings ,, as for the updates that's your option to use or not use ,, but regerstration of the software on the fourm is part of our protocol ,, hard seeing what you are seeing ,, have you referenced the manual for futher instruction ,,

I'll try and register my controller when I make it home tonight. As for the pitch controls I don't see that on here. I called gemini, the maker of the controller, and they said nothing on the controller slows or speeds the music pace so he thinks it's a settings issue. I have the gemini first mix controller with the orange jog wheels on it. It's the one WITHOUT the built in soundcard. Pretty basic little controller.

so with the pitch sliders in the middle ,, did /do the tracks play at the proper speed ,, and did you get your sound issues strightened out ,, have you looked at the manual and gotten some basic info as to set up and operation ,, lot of info to help you with basic set up and to give proper info as to whats going on with your set up ,

No, I'm still having the sound issue as well. With the pitch controls in the middle the songs still play very fast. I"m about to look at my set-up options to see if everything is configured correctly. Thanks for the manual. That's the same one I have been following with no luck.

have you looked at the Cross manual http://www.mixvibes.com/sites/default/f ... manual.pdfthe sound issues requires a second sc ,, later on that one ,, let me know what you find , reason for regerstering is a discounted price on a upgrade to Cross from Cross DJ le also safly stores the licence key for later retrivial also alowws you to post in Cross tech support where you can post screen shots of what you are seeing ,
