Hi,

I downloaded the MIDI mapping for the Trakor X1 but i keeps stopping working after i use it for about 10 minutes.. I have CDJ 2000 nexus and DJM 900 nexus hooked up as well and they still seem to send a MIDI signal, but the X1 doesnt...

Any help would be much appreciated....

Thanks

Dan

 just curious as to what software you are running ,, also any more info as to your set up , this info will help sort out your issues ,,
also please regerster your software licence key on the fourm ...user control panel/profile/serial # this will give you access to the download section for latest versions and mappings , and welcome

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the reply..

Can you advise how I register my software please?

I am using Cross 3.2.1 on a Macbook Pro using OSX 10.8.5 with 2 x Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus, 1 x DJM 900 Nexus (Which both seem to work fine) and have got my Traktor Kontrol X1 using the mapping from this link [NATIVE INSTRUMENTS KONTROL X1] MixVibes Cross 2.5.0

I also want to try and map my Traktor Kontrol F1 as well, but one thing at a time ;-)

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Dan

 seems you have gotten regerstered ,, check download section for updated versions ,, and also maybe more current versions ,, not shure whats avaible ,, but the manual and info in it about the MIDI mapping aspect of the software might help you on the way ,, also the search function might lead you to more info to your controller and user made mappings ,,
the MIDI map utility might give some help in this also ,,
so all that being said
welcome

Hi Daniel,

I have had a look on the download section and as far as I can see, I am up to date with both my Cross software and X1 MIDI mapping..

Is there anything else I need to check? It's like the mapping is a demo versions and only works for 20 minutes...

Can you think of anything else?

Thanks

Dan

Are your cdj in MIDI or hid mode.
Is the duration quite the same or with some variance.

There is no intelligence supposed to be in a MIDI mapping to regulate any timer. So likely it is somewhere else. Are you playing the same track when it stops.

In upcoming release 3.3 something changed for MIDI. You might to check if this has the same issue. In the download section for release candidates.

The CDJ's are in HDI mode..

Not sure about the track, I will go and have a mess around and check that out.. I will also try 3.3 as well :-)

Thanks for your help..

I will let you know how I get on..
