Hi, I'm having a bit of a problem relocating multiple files (as in all of my library) I have a MacBook Pro, Cross 3.2.1. Had everything aranged in the music folder in differnt subfolders, all working great. Then iTunes decides to crash and opn sorting that out copies all the files in the iTunes library so I now had a duplicate of almost all the music on my HDD (I already had files in the iTunes music library that I was not playing with Cross). But anyway all my Cross tunes are in my iTunes and I can only relocate them one by one (the folder thing works sometimes, not always..).
The question is, can I get Cross to find the new paths in a different, more automated way? It's like 1000+ files.....
I mean, iTunes knows where they are, why can't Cross get the paths from iTunes?

Thanks, that's exactly what I'm doing. For (almost) each of the 1000+ tracks of the library... Hence the question.
The weird thing is that I'm using spotlight to find the track (after I click on relocate - I have to click it btw, if it's selected and I press the return key nothing happens) a finder window appears and I just go to the search field and find the track by name, select it, click open (or return key, works this time) and then it goes to the question about serching for other tracks in the same folder. This doesn't always work, even if sometimes there are tracks in the same folder.
Could somebody automate this?

This automated function is there for like a decade. Basic options 1. each file (not found) had a change in name/type 2. the function is broken 3. iOS has a change for file management (again). For testing purposes I use this function for upto 100k tracks, (windows, but shouldn't matter). I would suggest to make a copy of your collection, just to be on the save side. Next you might want to give Release Candidate 3.3.0 of Cross a try to see if this works. Though I don't think it is related a compatibility fix for iTunes 12 is part of this. [MAC] Cross 3.3 RC01

Thanks for the RC, but it just does the same thing as 3.2.1 for me. So, appart from 1. Collection/Resolve all missing tracks and then manually selecting each from the Missing Tracks Resolver window and finding it with manual search/spotlight with the option of searching the folder for more files (most times it doesn't work) 2. right click the track in the main window, select "Relocate" from the drop down menu and do the same as above to find the track Is there any other (easier/faster) way to find the tracks that I may be missing I do want to say that the file name has not been changed, only the path (iTunes doesn't change the file name, only copies it in its library in the user/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Music/ folder where it organises it by artist/album, afaik)
