Hi there!

Could not post a topic in the introduction section so i will do it here!
(hope you guys will not get upset about it  )

First of all excuus me for my bad englisch grammar i'm dyslectic.

My name is Floris, 20 years old from holland. Been active since i was 10 years old. (first setup: Behringer vmx 300 & gemini cdj20) My dad was a high classified DJ in the 80's. So i was grown up looking at my dad playing some old records on his last technics sl1200mk2 between the hifi setup. He only kept 1 technics for his hifi set when he stopped spinning begin 90'''

Sadly i caint talk to my dad nowdays. Past away 4 years ago.
I feel quite proud when i play his 80's records on my cheap ass reloop turntables

Currently i have 2 setups running;'
Pioneer ddj sx Gold
KRK rp5 Gold
Thoshiba i3 500gb SSD

Reloop rp6000 mk6b
Allen & Heath 23c
Pioneer DJ 80 monitors
Pioneer RMX 500
Toshbiba i3 250gb SSD

I have some questions and i would be really happy if someone could answer them for me!

1: Today the Allen & Heat 23c Arrived + Cross Le, Le??? Does this mean light version or demo version?
(just saw i dont even have to buy a RANE SL2 Or other soundcard because it it built in!!!! YEEHAA)

2; Do i need to buy an expansion pack voor DVS?

3: Does mixvibes DVS work on serato tymcode vinyl?

4: Does the 23c works on Serato & Mixvibes?
(A friend has serato & maybe want to buy a 23c if its compatible)

5: Does special needles from ortofon for timecode make a difference?

6; Denon DN-HC 1000 compatible???

Why these questions?
tommorow i will sell the reloop's and order 2 fresh Pioneer PLX-1000 turntables. I really want to have just 1 set to play my vinyl & mp3's so timecode is verry nice for me! Its verry difficult to find this info on the web. been searching for a day now.

PS: The mixer introduced me to mixvibes. Never heard of it... specs are amazing. can not wait to try this chit out!

Thanks for the help guys!
Best regards,

Floris

Hi Floris. Welcome to mixvibes. Don't worry about your English. People from around the globe get there posts answered. If you feel like it you can use the Dutch forum. It's still quite new and many users choose to go to English as around the clock people seem to be awake.
I'll keep it general as your questions are specific and likely can be answered by someone in one reply.

Le version is specifically tunef for the device it is sold with. Pretty sure the 23 is with DVS. For full options you need Cross. The Cross DJ does not support DVS. You can upgrade. If you can afford it I would do it. Maim advantage is that the full version supports all MIDI and all soundcards. Also hid for Pioneer.

Good luck in creating your own beats with the heritage of your father as motivating pieces.

 PART OF THE REASON FOR NOT BEING ABLE TOP POST IN INTRODUCE YOUR SELF IS LACK OF REGERSTERING THE SOFTWARE LICENCE KEY IN THE FOURM ,, USER CONTROL PANEL/PROFILE /SERIAL # (forgive the caps ,,forgot they where on )get your set up situtated and more :?: and hopefuly answers ,,

also regerstering gives a up grade price to the Cross software ,

Hello
Cross LE is a full version of Cross with 2 limitation.
You need to have on setup Allen & Heath Xone 23 C pluged.
There are no update as on the full version actually scheduled.

DVS is enabled
Time code cd iso can be downloaded
Lp's can be found in shops other trade mark DVS lp's aren't compatible

Video functions and sampler enabled

Hey Floris,

Another fellow Dutchie! Nice setup you've got.

I can vouch for Mixvibes Cross. It's a great piece of software.

Although I don't do DVS (I was a vinyl DJ once and do not feel the need to go back in time :D ), I am guessing you can probably utilise Cross Remote on an iPad to enhance your performance.

Don't know where you are in Holland, but if you ever want to have a chat or any questions you need answered, give me a call.

Greetinx,
Chuck
