I do get what you're saying. But as a computer technician who is highly skilled at fixing just about any windows problem and removing viruses, I can honesty say that I do find it exceptionally hard to get infected. With me using this laptop pretty much solely for DJing and rarely installing new software on it, I view the likelihood of getting infected as close to zero.
Having said that, at some point I will install antivirus software on it.
Having analyzed in advance is recommended, mostly because other Cross functions also need CPU if you use them
CPU use peaks at around 30% for Cross when analysing tracks. I will during the coming week get Cross to analyse any tracks which haven't been done yet, to reduce CPU load when DJing.
