CDJ 2000s HID - how do I do a couple of things?

Hi

I'm lucky enough to have a pair of CDJ 2000s and a DJM 900Nexus for the weekend.

I've got the CDJs working in HID (amazing!!), I'm just hoping is there a manual to the various functions for this?

Also, how using these playes do I turn on/off sync for each deck, and also map things like slip mode toggling etc?

Also, with the DJM 900, is there a mapping for using with the video playing aspects of Cross 3.1 ?

Sorry to ask here, I had a quick look arond the site but couldn't seem to find the info and with me only having a small amount of time to try these didn't want to do my usual thing of stumbling through until I find things

Hi Bumperboy1. If you have a Cross license, could you please register it in the profile tab of the user control panel.

What is your question here. If you need a shop, you might want to add your country. If you have requirements, please tell them.

Hey Jane,

If I am not mistaken, in HID mode every button on the CDJ2000 does exactly what it is labelled as. Even the display will show you the tracks you are browsing.

So, sync, slip and stuff like that that have their own buttons on the CDJ, should work right out of the box, as far as I remember (don't use sync and slip a lot, so not 100% sure).

Greetinx.

Cheers so for the reply - and yeh, that was the thing the 2000s didn't have the 'sync' or 'slip mode' buttons, just the nexus 2000s. I was just wondering if it was poss while still in HID, to do an extra MIDI map over the players to get some kind of modifier/shift working to be able to activate those on and off.

No worries. They've gone for now, but have to say they worked amazingly well - did a gigi with them that weekend and faultless :)

What for sure you can do is to add a MIDI controller whith your requirements -easy MIDI learn on any compatible Midi-

Yeh, I think I'm gonna go down that route - I've been looking at the Korg NanoPAD controllers and thinking of going for one of those. Aiming to map hotcues and toggle buttons like slip mode etc for it.

Hoping also I can map some kind of way of track browsing as well with the track pad but will have to see how it responds/works with Cross :)
