I'm wondering if my Numark TT 1520 Tunetables and Vestax VMC 185XL mixer would work with Cross DVS and what sort of soundcard I would need?

Its been 8 years since I mixed so I'm starting form the basics and not sneding to much to make sure I've stil got it (basically keeping the missus happy till I save some lolly and get some proper gear), those in there 30's will understand! :)

Your help would be greatly appreciated guys and gals.....

Jay

Since Cross supports DVS regardless of the soundcard you use, it should work with any tt's and mixer and timecode vinyl.

As long as it has two inputs and two outputs and preferably a through switch (in case you want to play some real vinyl too), you should be safe.

Greetinx.

Hi Jamie, Welcome to MixVibes.

Cross DVS + U-Mix 44.

Would provide all you need (asked).
If you want a controller added with a soundcard build in the U-Mix Control Pro 2 is a great alternative.

See the product of MixVibes. You'll also notice many others being supported.

Your flightcase will become easier to carry... And don't worry about your age. Many users feel MixVibes being closest to working the manual style. Meanwhile using state of the art technique.
If all users would stack their good old vinyls it might reach the moon...

Don't hesitate to try the demo and/or free version for starters.

Im selling a Control Pro 2 if you are in the UK. Works great with my technics decks and supports timecode.
