CDJ 850 decks with Cross - the loop buttons as Hotcues ?

Hi - sorry to ask so many Cross compatible questions (had one last week about the DJM 850 mixer which I'm def planning to get soon)

I'm looking at various possibles for DJ decks and I know the various Pioneers CDJs can work great with Cross (are they HID?) - I just read the various features/setups and wondered is it possible with the CDJ 850 option for me to customise the mapping for the deck so they can launch hotcues on their various loop buttons rather than loop manipulations (so, behave more like a CDJ 2000 would?).

HID cannot be mapped by user; it is set up to follow the default behavior of the device.
MIDI can be mapped.

You can add a MIDI device seperate of the CDJ to do additional functions. E.g. a Korg nanopad or some like that.
