recomendations ,,

:cool: at the fork in the road ,, gaming keyboard died ,, lost my f and g key ,, :mrgreen: hard to spell fourm and gosh ,, :mrgreen: gaming keyboard was nice ,,never could get the macro keys to trigger in Cross :eek: so getting another one seems point less ,, thinking about getting a controller to use to control the sample banks ,,mainly the gain /faders in the vid section ,, firtst thought was the akai lp8 ,, know a few users on fourm have this ,,the velocity pads are not nessary only want to trigger the pad on /off and select between the play modes ,, thinking the rotarys could be used to raise lower the gain fader on the pads indiviualy ,,

:idea: so any suggestions ,, also info to consider i use the u m c p 2 with a modified mapping to control all 8 sample pads and locators ,, compliments of figdj ,,

Hi Daniel

The latest UMCP2 map controls 4 decks, 8 pads, 8 locators and when used in 2deck 2 sampler modes it controls all sampler fuctions including clock startstop, clock bend up and down, clock down, clock up, pad modes, active pad selection, pad rolling frequency, pad volume in 10% steps, sampler sync and sampler set as master. Something to think about.

Anyway for I found the Quneo controller from Keith McMillan Instruments to be a wonderful complemental controller for the UMCP2. perhaps you remember my posting or my medium size set up with the UMCP2 and Quneos.

:cool: didnt realise this figdj ,, use 2deck 2 sampler mode and yes controlling the pad gain /fader has become a concern due to wanting too fade vids from the banks,,will get info and particuliars shortly ,,
will look into the queneros also ..
