Cross with DVS using DJM 850 - do I need a soundcard

Hi - just hoped someone would know, I'm planning on getting a Pioneer DJM 850 soon for my setup and wanted to use DVS to control Cross.

I know the DJM 850 is traktor scratch certified, but would I still be able to use the mixer's soundcard with Cross or would I have to get a seperate external soundcard ?

Since Cross allows you to do DVS with any soundcard, you should be able to use it that way, imho.

I am currently using the DJM 850 with Cross DVS and it works great!

Let me know once you get one and if you need help setting it up. I'd be happy to help, and I can share my mapping for video mixing control for the DJM 850 if you are interested.

Wow - cheers so very much and yes please would love any help and mappings thanks!!!

I'm hopefully getting one next month (unless my next two events loose/don't break even) so that'd be great to have some help with the setup thanks. Tbh I didn't even realise an 850 could also be used to be MIDI mapped and work with Cross as well so am even more excited about getting one now.

Thank You :)

You're right Daniel, Cross only features two DVS decks.
