Hiya,

Really interested in MixVibes for it's Rekordbox compatibility and the fact that you can use any soundcard!

If I buy a MixVibes Cross (version 1) package (my local DJ store selling one cheap), can I update the software to version 3 for free? Also, does this version come with a sound card, and if so which model?

Have there been different models of timecode vinyl, and will the ones from the original Cross package still work with Cross version 3?

Another question I've not been able to find the answer to, does Cross have a feature whereby you can quickly change the timecode input from timecode to direct-thru?

I mean is it quick and easy to swap between a timecode vinyl and a real one?

If you register your license you can upgrade. Make sure you purchase the Cross 'Full' version and not Cross DJ. The latter does not support tc.
Can't tell if a sc is included. Ask the supplier; Cross is sold seperate as well as with devices.

You can change in settings. Not an expert on this, but don't think it is designed to do this in live situations.

Always good to know what you're up to.
You could give the Free version a try before buying. Does not have tc; but you can use your Cross collection in the full version later.

You can change in settings. Not an expert on this, but don't think it is designed to do this in live situations.

You can do it live using the "input switch" off the Cross mixer.

I think I'm gonna buy the full DVS package instead of the outdated one as the older one that I was looking at comes with 7" records.

Can I buy the full DVS package from your webstore? I can only seem to add the software to my cart.

edit: also I've been playing around with the free version and I absolutely love it. I was searching for something that would allow me to manage my Rekordbox library and still be able to play timecode incase the club doesn't have Rekordbox CDJs and it looks like this is the perfect solution!

If it the one with the 7 vinyl ....then it's Cross which you can update for free and come with the u46 DJ audio interface , it also comes with the new time code c.ds , not the old ones that will not work with Cross 3......so just buy that one if your not going to use turntable with time code vinyl
