A Newbie With A Question!

i have been using mixvibes Cross le witch came with my gemini first mix pro controller on a windows laptop.
i have recently upgraded to a macbook pro which obviously has no cd drive to install the software.
i have put my serial in the designated area in my user control panel, however when i attempt to download the software from the downloads section , nothing happens?
am i potentially missing something here ?
