The "analyze" button and a question about key function

Postby Idan Korenblum on 18 Apr 2014, 20:42

1. What does the analye button does and when I can't use it? It is grey.

2. I can see the key value only for a few songs. Should I just wait in order to get it for the entire list? Is there any way of saving it?

If you highlight a track or tracks in the browser you should be able to analyse them using that option.

one other point if you are new to Cross and DJ applications in general :
don't forget if a track/tracks are not dragged to prepare you will not be able to analyse it straight from the drive, also if you have a collection you have made or a playlist or smart list (Tracks you have dragged in or directed to a playlist already) you can also analyse from their.
just remember your drive with tracks on is only the referenced location , all Cross related functions like analyse are done from within Cross but not directly from the drive location, so Cross has to recognise these songs as part of the collection or playlist or smart list or the simplest way for a beginner and first step add to prepare then analyse them.

As long as you have read the manual on the above and understand the concept it will be easy their after, all the best.

Sorry if I ever come across the wrong way,Its never intentionally intended, and I am Always approachable.

I do not use video at present so in my experience I only refer to mixing audio
