Novation Twtich

Hi,
I'm running the latest version of Cross DJ for Mac. I see that the Twitch is no longer listed as a supported controller? I thought I saw it there recently but the Novation section is now empty.

The controller functions all worked with the driver Itch installed, but there was no audio output. Installing the Novation 2.4 drivers for Twitch got audio working, but now Deck 2 is basically dead. Only play and cue work, the other encoders and knobs do nothing. I don't know if you're working on getting this working again, but this seems to be the current state of affairs.

It seems like an issue on the website, as the mapping's still available in Cross DJ.

If installing the audio driver break the MIDI control, should ask Novation about it...
The mapping used to work in any condition, but if ever the guys at Novation changed the twitch behavior for any reason, there's no guarantee it still works.... You should definitely try to get info from Novation.

Well I'll ask, but I can't imagine they'll be very interested in doing anything about a mapping that (I presume) they didn't create for a piece of software that they don't really support. One of the reasons I picked up Cross was because Novation seems to have given up on the Twitch. Is there a way to modify the stock mapping myself? The Twitch is still sending MIDI data from the right deck, it's just not (apparently) doing anything.

Yes, you can edit MIDI mappings.
Goto MIDI in preferences, make a copy of the best fitting mapping (use x2 to copy). Goto to the option you want to re-map from the list at the right (spend a little time to what the options all are in the list) open one option and hit/turn the button/fader you want the option to be linked with.

You can copy your created MIDI file to other PC(s).

Didn't mean to ask novation guys to make a MIDI mapping, just ask them about the drivers and what they might have change, so that you can know a bit more what to change in the mapping and how!

Well, as mysteriously as the problem cropped up it disappeared. With the 2.4 driver from Novation now the mapping is working as expected AND audio output is working correctly. So never mind, I guess? I'm not sure what the lesson is here.

Although while we're on the topic, with the Novation section of the site mysteriously empty I can't find the guide for the default Twitch mapping anywhere. Is it still available?
