Hi,

i have the following problem.Mixvibes DVS is running perfectly.

Now I would like to connect the outs of my DJ mixer into my record ins of my mpc 2000.
The problem is that i can get no sound???

If I connect the outs of my DJ mixer right into my speakers, there is no problem and i can hear the sound out of my speakers?

Why the hell cant i route this signal into my MPC 2000?
The Mixer is set to line and not phono.

Im clueless, maybe anyone can help me?

Hey,

what exactly do you want to do? Do you want to route your Music from the DVS (audiointerface like U-Mix 44???) to the mixer and the Mixers out to the MPC 2000??? and than to the Speakers?
or how can I understand this?

regards
Christian

if you plug the sound card [ U-Mix 44 ] into the speakers and get sound

and then plug the sound card into the MPC 2000 audio inputs and the samplers outputs to your speakers …and get no sound

then you have a problem with the samplers inputs /outputs
check your MPC audio setting

you can also get a usb to MIDI interface and MIDI map the MPC to control the 16 pad sampler in Mixvibes DVS
…which is way more powerful than just using audio straight from the MPC

i use a roland mv 8000 with DVS…which is a lot like your set-up
this is a old video but it will give you an idear how it works
