Ok so i have the envivo controller with Cross DJ le 2.5.0 on my laptop, i've had a few problems already but another big problem i have is that all my tracks have an x beside them and when i try to load them to the decks it says 'can't load track, file not found.' So now i can't play any of my tracks. I've tried everything including 'resolve missing tracks' and then tried to relocate them and it says 'this track is already part of the library', so i then tried removing the track from the library and then tried again and it still says that its already part of the library, its really annoying me now.
Any help would be hugely appreciated, Thanks.

Seems really strange.
You could try to create a new collection. Maybe add just a part of your collection.
This might help to figure out if it is a problem with the specific collection or might be something else.
If you did not do to much in the current collection, just add all.

Yeah i can't understand it, i didn't move or mess with any of the tracks before this happened. I'll give that a go and try it, thank you very much for the reply!

Could you maybe check the value for the field Location in the collection.
(right click on column header and select the field).
Does it maybe look like this first row:

Ok, I will. as of now, i Have already Delete all those "Missing Tracks". For sure in a couple of days, it will pop up again by showing the "X".
My solution is by Adding those tracks identified as"Missing". I
Frequently run the "Missing track Resolver" just to be Sure.

Hi,
I have kind of simular behaviour. On my PC I have all files on an "F" and "G" drive. When I import tracks from a playlist on the PC, I also get the error "....already part of the library". When I then relocate to the other disc, problem is solved. .... Only now I would like to have these playlists also available on a laptop with "only" a C-drive, so I cannot take the backup version.
I solved it for now by deleting the playlists in Cross DJ and opening them with notepad, edit the location (replace "F:\" by "C:\Users\Jimmy\Music\"), import the playlists again and delete all references to "G" and "F" drive.
One of the things I loved about Cross DJ was the easy way of taking the collection and mappings from one device to the other (when everything was on "C") but moving playlists does not seem to be so smooth when using other disc configurations. It's my believe that this should be as easy as importing the playlist, klick on "relocate" in the top menu, point the first one and have the others found automagicaly.
I can live with the notepad work around but still wonder why the "already part of the library" error shows up as one track could be part of multiple playlists.
Maybe this helps to track down the other peoples problems, when tracks are on external devices, the drive letter can change when booting with a usb stick inserted for example and I noticed on windows 7/8 that my extra internal drives are treated the same way as usb sticks or external drives (I can eject them)
Hope this helps and I once can move playlists without editing them.
Jimmy (who always talks and types too much)

Hi,
just noticed that all my tracks are in the imported playlist but the order has completely changed and that's just what I have playlists for. I'll look on this forum for the reason why (I don't see numbers in the playlist when opened in notepad) and yes I can set them back in order (9 playlists of 20 tracks each...)
Just be warned when you edit your playlists!

correction
I started rearanging the track order and noticed that every playlist has missing tracks. They all are 20 -25 track playlists, and 1 up to 4 tracks were missing.
More I found that the first track of the playlist is always missing.
They are ordered in random order, at least I could not see any logical order from the information I had on display (track/artist/duration/location/comment/key....)
Although the lists are rather short, it still took me quite some time to arrange the lists again.
I found another (old) tread on this forum about the order of tracks being wrong when importing playlists with tracks that are already in the collection. All tracks of my playlists are already in the collection. I use version 3.0
I hope this can be solved.
keep on spinning,
Jimmy

Regarding the always missing first track, Cross wants the playlist to start with a newline character, so if you edit the m3u file and insert a blank line at the start all tracks should import properly.
