Posted: 31 Jan 2014, 07:35For a long time now I've had to maintain a secondary Mac running OS X 10.6 because it was the last release that supported Rosetta.
Why?
Because motion dive.Tokyo required it. And I LOVED that software. The quick change up for video, the flexibility, the video titling, and so much more just make that software very hard to replace for me in terms of being able to use it for visual artistry style VJ'ing.
And then.... I get my hands on Cross 3.0. Sick, Sick Sick.
Video samplers? Video titling? Flexibility in how the video is modified with volume, etc?
DAMN! And then you go and put in Apple Lossless codecs?
You're going to make me start using Cross exclusively aren't you? I said I'd come back once you added ALAC and then you smack me down with the video stuff after you added the S4 mappings. It was like you got together and said, 'What's his excuse for not using Cross? Really? Let's fix that."
And with this latest smackdown I can FINALLY abandon motion dive.Tokyo.
Sneaky, sneaky.... Just when I think I'm going to have to wait for years for a product to get all the features I want you go and do all these updates.

I might just end up abandoning Traktor for my upcoming performance set where I open for Hodor from Game of Thrones (yes, he's actually an accomplished DJ). I only have a few weeks before I have to pull that off though so it might be tough to make the jump back in time since I'm doing so much between now and then but we'll see.
