I need urgent help and the search came up with no help. I messaged someone from the mixvibes Facebook page but that didnt actually help much. heres my question...
Im a full time club DJ living in china. I play out 6 days a week and we use cdj 2000 (at very lest 900). I use rekorbox extensively and like the freedom I have with Rekordbox (having to just go to club with my usb and headphones).
At home I have cdj800s and its become a hasstle to prep music and sets, to the extent that I havent really touched my home setup much. I got traktor scratch pro with time code and started using that, but being more of a traditional guy i found it hard to use. I stuck to rekordbox.
Someone suggested Cross 3 as it works with RB and im looking at buying it cause it will suit me well both at home and at club (being hid plug and play if i ever decide to use that).
However, It seems like the timecode cd doesnt come with the package. i want to buy it from this site, but i will need the timecode cd. I sent a message to the Facebook page but they suggested i buy it from an external source. If i do this the price of this package will be way over my budget and way to much effort to actually get this going, which means Im going to be stuck with traktor.
Im willing to pay extra for the time code cd or at least the mp3 so i can burn my own cd, but obviously dont want to pay way too much (the one site offered the cd at 50 euro which is way too much).
If you can help me solve the issue of getting the time code signal cd or mp3 i will buy the software today.

Sorry. I think its silly that you dont offer the time code signal to mp 3 at least. I dont even mind buying the signal, but having to force me to buy the cd at 12 euros plus shipping to china (which will also take longer to get here) is so 1999. I need the time code only for home setup so it might not even be worth it for me. I have traktor and will keep using traktor. Sorry mixvibes, but your service is a little out dated

seems you are at a impass between something you want and something you dont want ,sorry for your delima ,,my only suggestion is to find a local retailer to avoid the shipping cost to get the tc cd at a more reasonable price to stay with in your budget as far as your opion to product being outdated ,,thats what it is in your opion ,,you are welcome to it hope you can find a happy resolution and enjoy the mixvibes software we come to enjoy

I honestly dont see the big issue though. Serato (and other companies) offer a free download of their time code cd ( http://serato.com/controlcd/downloads ) to anyone and everyone. There is absolutely no issue at all. Its a crucial part of the software which helps certain users of the software control certain features. Your reference to my "budget" is a little insulting as I have stated that I am willing to even pay for the code. Its pretty inconvienient to order it from Europe as i am located in China. There is no supplier near me. This means i need to wait for days to get my package delivered at what ever additional cost. Also, its holiday here now which means I will probably only receieve the product after the 20th of Feb. Somethhing, that could easily be sold via the internet (Every day I buy music from beatport) instantly. Im not sure what is so special about the mixvibes time code, and why it can not be offered for download (paid or free), so excuse me if i am overly annoyed with this whole situation.

As said above: sylMV wrote:Hi,
We've been thinking about giving an easier access to CD timecode. I don't know of if it'll happen in a short time. I'll ask those in charge of this. Hang on!
Cheers,
No need to argue, I personally agree with you and we are addressing your request. However I'm not taking decision, so I just can't promise it'll be available within a few days... Just hang on a bit.
