Just a hello from me. My forum name is Asymptote. For statistics fans I chose it becausse it can sometimes seem like forever before I get too the point.

As a long term user of other softwares I discovered Mixvibes just before Christmas. Many of these more well known programs are not working too well at the moment with their own hardware even.

My first step was to get the iPad version. I was so impressed that I bought the Mac version for my Macbook Pro.

Then thirdly I got the iPad remote app.

I am so very impressed with the software, the beat detection and some of the newer features. Last weekend I bought a U-Mix Control Pro 2.

First of all I did something stupid and updated the firmware to the wrong version. But within 2 hours, on a Friday evening, Mixvibes support sent through the proper firmware and I was up and running.

The controller is fantastic. Easy to use, solid as a rock. Great sound. Plus it works with my iPad (with powered usb hub).

So I've got a complete package. Can take my macbook pro and controller for larger gigs. Can use my iPad and controller for small gigs. And at home I can sit in my armchair playing tracks with the remote app.

good posting ,glad you enjoy the software as much as we do ,,, have U-Mix pro2 also ,, very good for my uses and ,,any info will gladly help with ,, also there are some user made mappings that expand the controllers usage ,,,,take care of your gear its a good piece but will not take but so much abuse
