Ive gone back n fourth between tractor vdj and the current version of mix vibes for a good part of the day.....there are currently performance issues with mix vibe that I did not anticipate and I wish full versions were available in the demo.

At this point I feel like im stuck with a purchase I cant make good use of at this stage of development..is there a refund process in place?..is there goign to be another update that will address the problems ive listed thus far in other posts?

thanks

check out my other posts in reference to the problems Ive been having with this so far.....im using Numark 4trak and eleite book laptop with proper specs to run traktor flawlessly.....i read over the beta specs...basicaly im not impressed with my purchase of the softwear at this time its not up to scratch performance wise and the effects are not very good, the resolution in terms of job wheel scratchin is not good.....and ive not been able to make adjustments in the resolution to make scratching clean audio wise...and ive not been able to scan boms on songs thats did not analyse...or manually edit bpms of songs....i read a lot about the Cross upgrade and watched a lot of you tube vids.....and i thought i was getttin a product that was going to compete with what I have been using thus far....IE traktor and vdj....that has not been the case to my disappointment......I really would like a refund.....and I suggest that full versions of the softwear future releases are used in demo versions so that users really have an idead of what they will be gettin....

 sorry to her of your displeasure ,,
seems to be two main issues ,, trying to use a controller thats not properly mapped for the software ,,
and lack of information on your part to use the software,, ie manualy editing bpms ,,can be done..the other issues not clear on ,,as for a full version as demo ,, that has been and depending on what version you demo ,, it as close to full featured as you can get and still be a demo  sorry to see that you have reached this stage with a software that consistantly meets my needs and expectations

Okay.
There is no refund possible in your case. We never do this. None of other software would do it.
You can write to sales@mixvibes.com and resume your disapointment.
Or better
You can sell your software to someone able to use it.
It is a great software with a lot of more development to come and years of experience. In that case contact me

Hi Mate, its sounds like your are very frustrated at the moment, however.. it seems you have not NEARLY giving yourself enough time to learn and understand the software. Cross DJ, VDJ, and Traktor are all very in depth programs that have ALOT more features than what first meets the eye. Im not saying mixvibes is definitely the software for you but try giving each program at least a week (minimum) if not a month before you make up your mind, sure this can be time consuming having to analyse all of your music and reset cue points and what not but it will pay off in the end!
Believe me when I say EVERY program has its strengths and weaknesses but Cross is a fantastic piece of kit and thats coming from someone that has used Traktor and Serato for many years! so please just give it time, learn the ropes and you will find some extremely good features with this software!..
Giles

Exactly what Giles said. Musicians spend hundreds if not thousands of hours on a new horn before they are comfortable with it, so why are DJ's so in a hurry to have their program be the best fit after opening it twice and being sad that it won't scratch for you. It takes time to learn new stuff, DJ software included.

There are several features that are in Cross that are not in any other software on the market, but I'll let you find those out for yourself. Just to make sure that you actually put time into your craft.

And yes, Cross is competing with all of the major software, otherwise you wouldn't have purchased it... let that set in.

ok..Im tryin to be diplamatic..Im not trashing the product..i dont really appreciate the perspective thats commin across like i dont know wa im talkin about...or i dont know what im doing in general with DJ softwear... Ie I need to spend more time with the softwear etc .this is not good customer service firstly and its rather argumentative secondly ..and has got me a little pissed off right now

Ive posted my problems Ive encountered....and thus far this thread askin for a refund has recieved more attention than the posts asking for help to solve the problems....now if you lot are so experienced with this softwear...then give me the detailed info needed to address the short commings Ive pointed out.....the only DJ softwear I have not used is serato...every thing else I have used, a) has worked out of the box b) has had PHONE client support to sort out details......

I WAS A TRUMPET PLAYER IN BANDS FOR 7 YRS...when one has a defective instrument they replace it....and ive been djing since age 16 with vynil...so im not some guy thats just downloaded the product to become a DJ in a weekend with out any previous history in djing with softwear

see the date I joined this forum (2008)....I waited yrs till i brought this softwear.....cause I was not impressed with it back in 2008 when I tried the demo and compared it to VDJ....and i opted to use vdj..the ONLY REASON I BROUGHT IT LAST WEEK WAS BECAUSE OF THE MARKETING, AND THEY "HYPE" THAT THE SOFTWEAR HAS ARRIVED TO "TAKE ON THE BIG BOYS"

I tried the demo....many features were locked including many of the effects....and the auto mapping to my controller...so it was no way to really test out if this product would meet MY opinions of a good product. based on my time and experience djing on other softwear.

I brought the full versions...thinking that I would be ok in terms of trusting that this product would cut it...ill say it again...the effects are not good..and lack the controls that exist in vdj...so they definatly dont have the functionality of traktor..and i used the auto mapping that was unlocked in the full versions....the cue hits are sluggish...the jog wheel trackin is sluggish...scratching is sluggish ...and I am yet to find any settings that allow me to fine tune these problems

AGAIN NOT HERE TO BITCH N MOAN OR TRASH THE PRODUCT...BUT IF ITS NOT REALLY READY TO FULLY COMPETE WITH THE OTHERS ON THE MARKET, THEN ITS NO NEED TO PROMOTE IT AS IF IT DOES COMPETE. at this point I defeine it as a mid level to entry level softwear...since its lacking various controls

NOW IF THE PROBLEMS I HAVE CAN BE FIXED HELP ME FIX THEM...IF NOT I DONT SEE WHY I CANNOT GET A REFUND...CAUSE AT THIS POINT I HAVE NOT RECIEVED WHAT I THOUGHT I WOULD BE GETTING IN A WORKIN PRODUCT...HENCE WHY I SAID THE FULL VERSIONS SHOULD BE IN THE DEMO SO PEOPLE INVESTIGATING THE PRODUCT AFTER BECOMMING CURIOUS A REVIEWS, LIKE I WAS....WILL KNOW FOR A CERTAINITY WHAT THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY ARE NOT BUYING.

PS...the video plug in does have potential once the problems ive listed are sorted out and the audio effect are improved

Disrespect

I guess you are one of those that never make errors, it is always "the others".

You are not bitching around? You are not moaning?

HAHA you DO!

Software, as soon as bought, opened and registered can neither be returned nor refunded. Welcome to the real life, hard, isn't it?

Sell it or try to be proactive and even try to solve the problems.

You have never again mentioned anything regarding your problem apart from "it's not working". No computer specs, no detailled error messages - nothing.

Oh and ... haha ... "the effects are crap", well, if you are not satisfied with the demo then visit a shop and try the full version there. There are some that offer this. If not then why did you buy it? Why have you bought a pig in a poke? I don't understand.

You are only disappointed that you have made a fault and now no one can help you out.

Stop blaming others for your faults!
