Hi Guys,
I have bought a Mixvibes U-Mix Control 2 DJ MIDI Controller for my lad. I need some help setting it up. The unit does not have a headphone socket, it links to the laptop. My question is this, how do I use headphones and have a sound output that can go to an amp? I am using a MacBook Pro. Any ideas what leads I need? I have seen a 3.5mm splitter but it sounds like it splits stereo to two single mono. Can I get an out put from USB or one of the other ports. Surely the internal mixer I have bought can be used with an amp etc? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

welcome to mixvibes ,, control 2 ,, no nstalled sound card , in order to pre fade listen you will need a second sound card or a multi channel s c ,,if you opt to get a usb sc then you will need to aggreate it in to the mac audio configuration ,, cant post a link explaining what you need right now ,,, if you get a multi channel sc then its just a matter of selecting it for use in Cross software ,,preferences /audio /dual stero config setting ,, ,,
seems a bit much but in order to listen to the mix but you need a second set of outputs to have the software send the signals to ,, any othe nfo feel free to ask questions and refer to the manual ,, and pior posting for similiar situtations ,
