I have been trying all day to get this thing to work.

Basically my set up is:

Stanton STR8-30 Turntable x2
Numark DXM mixer
Mixvibes Ultimate

I've updated to the newest softwares etc.

CANNOT get my laptop to register any sound from it. I've even tried plugging in my ipod to the input like with a 3.5mm to phono cables..the light comes on on the box but still no joy through the software.

HELP!!! Do I have a faulty umix-44 box?

not a expert in DVS set up ,,,saw in your config report that the t c signal was low ,, check your connections and also the input settings , cant remember where the DVS manual is ,, but kinda remember that there is a pass thru mode that will allow you to play regular vinal thru ,,

its giong to take a little effort and info on your part to get this figured out ,, being that this is a holiday around the world ,,just us user here to help ,

Hey, yeh I created a new post as I didn't want to clog that other fellas thread. Had a bit of a breakthrough with it. Managed to set up my desktop PC and it's now working?! So need to sort out my laptop. Little bit stumped with it to be honest.

Just as a mention..I'm getting 100% quality through my desktop.

Finally sorted today. I uninstalled all the sound drivers on my laptop, uninstalled mixvibes and everything else, rebooted, reinstalled and hey-presto...100% quality from my laptop!
