thanks for help...making some progress

Ok. for all that has helped me thanks. I appreciate it. I'm sorry I am unable to post in support for some reason. I understand if this gets moved. Here is what I have.....2 audio Technica turntables...built in ground. Numark x6 mixer. My laptop is working on windows 8.
I have managed to figure out that I need RCA cables from the 5/6 slot on the soundcard to the aux section of my mixer. Problem is, its the same volume control as my mic.
Do I have to get a small controller for the sample bank? Also...is there a Cross LE? Cause my main screen looks different to me than what is advertised. I'm still trying to get my timecode settings straight. So if there are any turntablists here, your help would be appreciated. I'm beginning to laugh at myself now.
thanks again.

  external mixer mode hides the eq section in the middle of the players ,,
you canget a seperate controller for the sample bank or use key board short cuts ,, check out the key board mappings and also able to create amd edit them to your preference,,
:!: get your t c set up sorted out first though to see how you like it ,,

so its safe to say that I can't use the eq within the program? since I have an external mixer. Is there anyway of controlling the sample banks volume? it just plays low. will I have to run my drops through an MP3 gaining software to increase the volume?

I'm just brain pickin here.

True. External mixer = external EQ (on your mixer)

There is gain on your mixer, which should bring it up, and also there is individual volumes for each sample bank that are MIDI mappable. If you're doing just drops, you could probably just turn them all the way up and not map them.

Shouldn't have to unless you want to. Cross should set auto-gain for the samples, but if they are still too low, you can increase the gain of that sample by going into "info" and then increasing the gain.

For remap mix vibes You have to upgrade to Professional version.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me for all kind of question.

2.6 is the latest version, yes. Who are you talking to that's the sales rep? From Mixvibes? or what company?

I'm still not getting this. Why when I hit the stop button my turntable, the vinyl stop, but in Cross it plays backwards?

I might need to totally uninstall everything. The screen I'm seeing isn't even close to what's in the manual. I think I installed a driver that I don't need as I have windows 8. Do I need to use the install disc or can I go straight to the upgrade and install that? I'm trying with this manual but it is simply geared toward the controller user. I need a turntablist's input on this. I do appreciate the help. but Here I am 5 days later....not one mixed song.
