iTunes appears empty in Cross

Sorry this is being placed here, the forum won't let me post on the Cross board.

I just installed Cross, and my iTunes folder within Cross appears empty. I checked that the path to the iTunes library.xml file is correct. Using the same path I can see tracks in the iTunes folders within Rekordbox and Traktor, just not in Cross.

I'm using Cross 2.6 on OSX 8.2

Thanks for the help!

*Also, when you purchase on your site the version you download is 2.5. When you try to open the .app file in OSX 8.2 you get a message saying the apps certificate has been revoked. The OS won't let you open the .app even if you turn off gatekeeper. Downloading Cross 2.6 solves the problem, but that took some guesswork to figure out.

Hey,

for the forum issue please clear your cookies and temp files or use the delete function of the forum and log in again. ucp.php?mode=delete_cookies

To your issue: What version of iTunes have you installed?

I'm on iTunes 11.1.1

I'll try 11.1.3 and see if that helps.

I'll try clearing cookies again.

Hey,

okay, on my Mac with Mavericks everything is working correct with 2.6. Also what installer do you use? when did you download it? with the first 2.6 version there was a small issue with the installation process but this was to my knowledge only for mavericks a problem but if needed download Cross again and uninstall the old and install the new version again.

I purchased on Mivibes.com on Friday (11/15), the version linked to from the download email after I purchased was for Cross 2.5. I had problems with OSX 10.8.2 not allowing me to open the Cross.app file even after turning off gatekeeper both via the system utility and directly through the terminal (I had been getting a revoked certificate message). I decided to try installing 2.6 (downloaded from mixvibes.com). OSX didn't have a problem with 2.6, however I've found that my iTunes folder is empty in Cross.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success. I have been able to import my library from a Rekordbox .XML export, so in a roundabout way I have my files imported (iTunes > Rekordbox Bridge > Rekordbox Library Export > MixVibes), however I'd hate to go through this whole process every time I want to add new music (every week).

I just tried updating iTunes to 11.1.3, made some changes to the library then closed iTunes (to force an XML file update). I then restarted Cross 2.6, but my iTunes folder still appears empty :(

Any chance you could have two iTunes libraries? One that's empty, and one that's being updated? This could happen if you relocated your libraries.

Something simple. Did you import your tracks to Cross mediabase?

Nope, just one library. There are some backup libraries, but they're on a separate drive, and I'm definitely not pointing to them.

I finally imported tracks last night from a Rekordbox .xml export file. Prior to that I had not imported tracks (as normally I'd import from iTunes).
