Speaker sound going from 2 speakers too 1

When I am using Cross DJ on occasions when 1 deck is playing, both speakers work fine and then after mixing to the other deck the sound only comes out of 1 speaker. Both speakers work fine, so I am unsure of what is happening with the software??
Any ideas on how this can be rectified, please?

Make sure your audio output is connected properly.

Make sure you have Simple Stereo selected.

Are you using your laptop soundcard? One of your channels could be going to your headphones.
