I know the specs are below recommended:

1.83ghz Core 2 Duo Processor
2gb Ram

Is anyone using these for timecode mixing and scratching. Ive got a chance to buy one for £150 and wondered whether it will run Cross 2.6 and timecode?

I dont tend to use fx and stuff, just 4 deck mixing and scratching.

Anyone have any REAL WORLD experience of using this system and is it ok?

Don't know hardly anything about Mac's but with those specs I think you be running into problems

Macs are normally a bit more streamlined than PC's regarding process management. I got the spec wrong its a 2ghz Core 2 Duo if that makes any difference.

Ive an I3 Macbook with 8gb ram and its solid but would be nice to have the imac fixed in between my decks...
